Additional Services
Tree Topping- Trimming a tree line by a significant amount. This is a practice that is not done by professionals in the tree service industry because it will decrease the life of a tree. We will not trim the canopy of a tree more than 20% of its overall height or spread. Very few tree species can handle this much trimming
Extending Surface Roots- Roots that extend more than 3 feet from the trunk of the tree and are above the ground level

Hidden Elements-an object inside a tree that our equipment is not designed to cut, such as concrete, fencing, or metal
Underground Utilities -these are items that are very important for you to mark before we work on your property, such as sprinkler sytems, buried gas, electric, or phone or cable tv lines, septic tanks or fields, invisible dog fences.
Pruning
Crown Raising or Elevating- The removal of the lower branches to provide clearance from the ground or structure
Hazardous Reduction Pruning (HRP) – To remove only branches that are decayed or declining, and are posing imminent danger.
Crown Thinning or Cleaning- Sometimes referred to as sucker growth this is the selective removal of one of the following items: dead, dying, or diseased branches, weak branches and water sprouts.
Crown Reduction or Shaping- The ability of the species of the tree to sustain this type of pruning needs to be considered. The purpose is to decrease the actual height or spread of a tree
Removal
Tree Takedown with Stump Cut Low- A full take down or removal of a tree and leaving the stump cut as low as reasonably possible without damaging our equipment. Logs and chips would be removed unless otherwise noted on the estimate.
Tree Takedown with Stump Cut Low- This would consist of a full take down of a tree and leaving the stump cut as low as reasonably possible without damage to our equipment, including the logs and chips removed from the premises unless other instructions are noted on the proposal
Complete Removal with All Stump Mulch Removed- All of the above work as described, however the stump mulch will be dug out to ground level.
All Wood to Remain on Premises- When requested, all of the larger tree sections will be left on site in uncut lengths. You can request the logs to be moved to a specific location on the property. We still assume to haul and dispose of the wood chips from the job unless it is noted on the estimate.
